I have worked for Global organisations with a complex stakeholder matrix, multi-channel, multi-sector and multi-site infrastructure. This has provided me with experience in many vertical industries, from forestry and manufacturing  to utilities. I bring commercial and sustainability focus to private companies, governments and non-profit organisations in developed and developing countries. 

My global experience, with direct responsibility for business activities, includes the USA, Canada, Latin America, South and East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

My work spans from strategic development and planning to hands-on sales and contract negotiations, as well as managing a broad range of external stakeholder relationships, from partners, academics,  NGOs, local and international goverments to top C-suite executives.  

My experience in technology spans from telecommunications to cloud and managed services. I’ve had the privilege of having held executive positions for the most innovative companies of their sector. 

BT, Cable and Wireless, and O2 for fixed and mobile communications, offering domestic and international services to the Oil, pharmaceuticals, printing & packaging, beauty & health, media, retail and  government organisations 

(NHS, police, local authorities, etc). 

AVG technologies for security , cloud and mana1ged service  products to all sectors in the SME and SOHO space. Vislink for  secure instant communication, including  satellite technology,  to organisations like the BBC, military, security,  police and other first responder organisations. 

  My experience in financial sevices spans from insurance to loans and equity to raising standards in the sector. I’ve had the privilege of having held executive positions for the most innovative companies of their sector. 

Hiscox Insurance PLC  provides a wide and specialised portfolio of personal and commercial insurance products (UK and Western Europe), including High Networth Individuals (HNI).

The International Finance Corporation (private sector arm of the World Bank Group) is a leader on Sustainability and Developmental goals and provides sustainable  loan and equity products with banking partners and organisations investing in developing countries (Africa, South Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe). My department was responsible for  manufacturing, retail, health, pharmaceuticals, education, agribusiness, forestry, tourism, construction materials, transport, chemicals and  Climate Change mitigation.

 As an adviser to the CEO and senior leadership team at the Chartered Insurance Institute (membership, professional courses and qualifications) I was responsible for delivering a cohesive international strategy and  reviving the CII’s overseas position in the market. I was also involved in social projects such as Insuring Women's Futures.

I have developed working groups with senior professionals to galvanise stakeholder engagement and deliver sector-wide improvements. I accomplished jointly set objectives by managing a myriad of group formats such as discussion forums, connecting peer groups, launching joint initiatives (e.g., Insurance Apprenticeship Scheme), C-suite round-tables, specialised committees (e.g, pricing), affiliated and loyalty programs, thought leadership discussion forums (e.g., The Future of Broadcasting), large horizontal and vertical events (e.g., Harvard Graduates), presentations to chambers of commerce, embassies, investors, local and country official offices (e.g. tourist offices) to share best practice, exchange ideas, and take initiatives to the next level.
